Heidi Jackson for qathet School District Trustee
Listening. Learning.
Building Stronger Schools Together.
I’m putting my name forward for qathet School District Trustee because I care deeply about the future of our community and the role our schools play in shaping it. I believe good governance begins with listening, asking questions, building strong relationships, and making thoughtful, responsible decisions.
My Priorities
Student Well-Being & Success
Supporting environments where students can learn, grow, feel connected, and succeed.
Communication & Community Connection
Listening to students, families, educators, staff, and our wider community.
Responsible Stewardship & Accountability
Thoughtful decision-making, transparency, and responsible use of public resources.
Relationships with Tla’amin Nation
Supporting continued collaboration, Indigenous student success, and meaningful relationship-building.
About Heidi
I have called the qathet region home for 15 years and bring a background in leadership, business, property management, administration, and community service. I currently work with Tla’amin Nation and serve on the Board of Directors of the Powell River Foodbank.
My approach is simple: listen carefully, ask good questions, consider different perspectives, and be prepared to do the work.
